第463回例会レポート
本日は２月に開催されるエリアコンテストに向けてテーブルトピックコンテストもどきでした。
日本語の部に出場したのは３名、K木さん、Kさん、A坂さん。
Fさんによるお題は『20年後の自分からの今の自分にメッセージを送って下さい』
少しトリッキーな話題にコンテスタントの三人三様の回答が素晴らしかったです。
トップバッターのK木さん、さすがのベテランぶり発揮して20年後にかなった夢について現在の自分に語りかけていました。
続いても大ベテランKさん。東京を出て涼しく治安の良いところで落ち着いて暮らすことの大切さについて現在の自分にアドバイスを送りました。
最後はA坂さん。20年後の自分を想像して健康に過ごすために今するべきことを具体的に語られました。
優勝は落ち着いて素晴らしい妄想話を語ったK木さん。おめでとうございます。

After the break, the English Table Topics Competition was held. The competition was hosted by YH. The topic YH presented was “You suddenly died in an accident and were reincarnated as an animal. What animal did you become and what kind of life you living now?”
The first speaker, MF, spoke about being reborn as her own pet cat. Using expressive body language and vocal variety, he even praised her owner—who was, of course, herself.
The second speaker, YS, argued that he wanted to be reborn as a “human.” In contrast to MF’s humorous approach, his story unfolded in a serious tone.
Then, to whom did the goddess of victory smile upon?
Results
1st place: MF
2nd place: YS
The cat defeated the human 🙂
MF will advance to the second round (the Area Contest) on February 15. Congratulations!
