第 411回例会 レポート

今回のレポート担当はSです。
通常実施している千代田区スポセンではなく、九段下生涯学習会館での開催です。1階の案内には、千代田TMCだけ手書きで書かれていました。
常連の団体が多いのでしょうかね。他にも面白そうなセミナーとかがありました。
いつものT1会長挨拶の後、今夜の例会のTMOEのK1さん登場です。今夜の言葉はナウい。英語では“Trendy, Now”。皆忘れていたような言葉で、今時こんな言葉使う人いるのですかね・・・何とか駆使して使ってみましょう。
ゲストの方はいないので、会員同士ゆるく始まります。
今夜の役割紹介の後に、一人30秒で英語プレゼンを行う“What’s new?” を行いました。
次に準備スピーチに移ります。
先頭はF１さん。タイトルは「お金の増やし方」です。タイトルに皆、興味津々です。
さて、どうしたらお金を増やせるのか・・・・。皆さん集中してスピーチを聞いていました。
ビジュアルエイドや聴衆への質問の投げかけ等、典型的な聴衆を引き付けるスピーチでした。
次はT2さん。タイトルは「Bike Shinjuku Gems」通常のプロジェクトよりも長い1５分のスピーチです。
直前まで日本語でやるか英語でやるか迷った末、英語でのスピーチになりました。
新宿の魅力が伝わったでしょうか？
何故、都庁は新宿に建設されたのかとか、建築者の丹下健三の話とか、
都知事の執務室は何階にあるかとか、とても興味深い話でした。
地震・災害を想定して建てられた建物である事を改めて痛感しました。
個人的には歌舞伎町が好きですが、Bikeで行くにはちょっと混雑しすぎかもしれませんね。
3番目はT1さん。タイトルは、「人生相談」。 多忙だったようで、即興でのスピーチです。
まあ、これがT1さんの真骨頂でもあります。会社でのタウンホールの話です。
即興とはいいながらしっかり“落ち”があって教訓もある話にまとめあげる所は流石！
日本人の会議で、「質問は？」って言われて、「（シーン）・・・・」ってのは、あるあるです。
後から、「何であんな質問するんだ！」なんて怒られかねないですし・・・笑。
でも、そうした所から少しずつ変わっていくと良いですね。
出すぎる杭は打たれなくなります。
次はテーブルトピックス、F２さんの登場です。
そろそろ2023年も終わりを迎える頃なので、2023年に経験した“一番”です。
一番美味しかった食べ物、一番嬉しかった事、感動した事、驚いた事などです。
嬉しかった事、確かに給料大幅に上がったら嬉しいですよねー。
感動した事の話では、今年他界された伊集院静さんの話が出ました。
最も好きな作品は「少年譜」だそうです。
僕は伊集院さんの本は読んだ事は無いのですがこの機会に読んでみようかと思いました。
次に総合論評です。K1さんが実施して下さいました。
Mさん、F2さん、K2さんが各々の準備スピーチに対する論評を行いました。
今夜の投票結果は、準備スピーチ及びテーブルトピックT２さん、論評K2さんでした。
Ｔ２さん2冠です。丁寧な話し方と、ストーリー性を重視した話が勝因かと思います。
さて、最近会議案内がAI作成で届きました。
丁寧で特に違和感なく、言われるまで気づきませんでした。
410回の例会レポートの様子の絵はＡＩで作成したようですが、
例会レポート自体もそのうちＡＩで簡単に済ませるようになるのかもしれませんね。

Reporter, tonight, is S.
The event will be held at the Kudanshita Lifelong Learning Hall instead of the usual Chiyoda Sport center in Chiyoda Ward.
On the information board on the first floor, only Chiyoda TMC was handwritten and others printed version.
I assume that there are many groups of regulars. There were also other interesting seminars.
After the usual T1 as chairman’s greeting, Mr. K1 from TMOE appeared for tonight’s regular meeting.
Tonight word is “Trendy” or “Now”.
It’s a word that everyone seems to have forgotten, but I wonder if there are people who use it these days.
Let’s try to use it somehow.
There will be no guests, so the meeting will start slowly among the members.
After tonight’s role introduction, we held “What’s new?”, where each person gave a 30-second English presentation.
Next, move on to prepared speech.
The first one is F1. The title is “How to make more money”.
Everyone is intrigued by the title. Now, how can I make more money? Everyone was concentrating on listening to the speech.
It was a typical speech that attracted the audience, including visual aids and asking questions to the audience.
Next is T2. The title is “Bike Shinjuku Gems.” This is a 15-minute speech, which is longer than a normal project.
T2 was wondering whether to give the speech in Japanese or English until the last minute, but T2 decided to give the speech in English, eventually.
T2 was effectivtly conveyed the charm of Shinjuku.
The stories were very interesting, such as why the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building was built in Shinjuku, the story of its architect, Kenzo Tange, and what floor the Tokyo governor’s office is on.
I once again realized that this building was built with earthquakes and disasters in mind.
Personally, I like Kabukicho, but it might be a little too crowded to go there by bicycle.
The third person is T1. The title is “Counseling about lift”.
It seems like he was busy, so this is an impromptu speech.
Well, this is the true value of T1. This is a story about a Town Hall Meeting at work.
Even though it’s called improvisation, it’s amazing how he manages to wrap it up into a story which is laughing with lessons learned!
At a meeting with Japanese people, when someone asks me, “Do you have any questions?”, People often say nothing.
Later on, Boss might get angry and say, “Why did you ask such a question?”
But it would be good if things started to change little by little.
A stake that sticks out too much will not be beaten.
Next up is Table Topics by F2.
Since 2023 is almost coming to an end, this is the “best” I experienced in 2023.
The most delicious food, the thing that made you happiest, the thing that moved you, the thing that surprised you, etc.
With regards to happiest, it was really happy if salary increased significantly.
When it came to things that touched most, there was a story about Shizuka Ijuin, who passed away this year. Most favorite novel for colleague was “Shonenfu.” I haven’t read any of Ijuin’s books, but I thought I’d take this opportunity to read it.
Next is a commentary session. This was carried out by Mr. K.
M, F2, and K provided commentary on each prepared speech.
Tonight’s voting results were prepared speech and table topic T2 and commentary K.
T2 won 2 crowns. I think the reason for T2 success was her polite way of speaking and her emphasis on story-telling.
Recently, I received a meeting guide created by AI.
It was polite and didn’t make me feel particularly uncomfortable, and I didn’t notice it until I was told.
It seems that the picture of the 410th regular meeting report was created using AI, but the regular meeting report itself may also be easily completed by AI in the future.
